Sunrise Clinician - The Guidance Center of Westchester

POSITION: Sunrise Clinician

PROGRAM: Sunrise Substance Use Outpatient Program

HOURS: Full-time (35 hours a week) will include evenings and Saturday hours Sunrise Outpatient Treatment Program

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: · LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMFT · CASAC-T or CASAC a plus · Must Successfully Pass Criminal and Background Checks, NYS Justice Center Registry Clearance and finger printing will be done prior to employment. · Familiarity with OASAS regulations a plus · 1-2 years of experience working with adolescents, adults and families with substance use and co-occurring struggles. · Experience running groups.

SKILLS: · Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. - Be able to critically think in a crisis. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Familiarity with electronic medical records preferred The Sunrise team works with adults and adolescents who have a history of substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues providing group, individual, family and peer services. The staff is multidisciplinary, composed of a Medical Director/Psychiatrist, RN, CPRA, Program Director and licensed clinical staff.
